Ivana Mrdja

Ivana Mrdja manages National Society and Government partnerships at the International Federation of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) since the beginning of 2019. She started working with the IFRC during the Balkan Crises in the 90s in her country of origin, Serbia. From 2000 – 2002 she was deployed in Indonesia, India and South Africa. Since then, she has been based at headquarters, in Geneva, developing and managing some of the main IFRC public and private partnerships. She also contributed to the development of the Federation-wide Resource Mobilisation Strategy. Ivana has a dual Serbian/Swiss nationality. She holds a law degree from the University of Belgrade. Her most important role is being mum to her twin daughters.
