Cristina Rendón

Cristina Rendón is Programme Officer for Human Rights Defenders at the Martin Ennals Foundation. She holds a bachelor’s degree in communication and began her career in the public relations sector in Colombia. Cristina Rendón obtained a master’s degree in Development Studies from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva. Between 2013 and 2019 she developed the advocacy strategy for women’s rights at the Lutheran World Federation and created a training program in human rights with a gender perspective in partnership with several ecumenical organizations. Also active at the associative level in Geneva, Cristina Rendón is preparing a Swiss certificate in adult education and is involved with institutions dedicated to the social and professional reintegration of migrants, such as the OSEO and the Association Découvrir in Geneva.
