Isabel de Sola

A graduate of Harvard College and the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, Isabel de Sola began her career as a diplomat in the Foreign Service of her native El Salvador, posted to Brussels, Lisbon and Paris (2002-2011); She was Practice Lead for International Security at the World Economic Forum, and a Global Leadership Fellow. She supported the PeaceNexus Foundation from 2017-2018 on the use of impact investing as a tool for collaboration between civil society, the financial sector and companies. As Senior Advisor to the UN Secretary General’s High-level Panel on Digital Cooperation in 2018, Isabel was responsible for the multistakeholder consultation and outreach strategy of the Panel. She is the President of the Board of the Fundacion Herbert de Sola, a member of the National Council for Security and the founder of Foropaz, a peacebuilding platform in El Salvador.
